Contributor Agreement – Piano Mastery Guide
Effective Date: 7/12/2025
By submitting content to Piano Mastery Guide (“PMG”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you (“Contributor”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the following terms:
1. Content Ownership & Rights
- You retain ownership of your original work.
- By submitting content (blog posts, images, media), you grant PMG a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Publish, edit, and promote your content
- Display it on pianomasteryguide.com and related platforms
- Use it in marketing materials, newsletters, or social posts
You may republish your own content elsewhere, but we ask that you provide a link back to the original post on PMG when you do.
2. Original Work Only
By submitting content, you confirm that:
- It is your original work and does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property
- You have the right to use and share any included media (images, audio, video)
- You are not using AI-generated content unless clearly disclosed and edited for originality
We reserve the right to remove plagiarized, copied, or unoriginal content.
3. Editing & Formatting
- PMG may edit submissions for clarity, formatting, grammar, SEO, or design
- We’ll never drastically change your message or meaning without your permission
If your piece needs major edits, we may contact you for revision before publishing.
4. Content Guidelines
Contributors must follow these content guidelines:
- Be respectful, constructive, and appropriate for all audiences
- Avoid self-promotion spam or misleading claims
- Disclose affiliate links, sponsorships, or conflicts of interest
Posts that violate community standards may be removed at our discretion.
5. No Guaranteed Publication
We appreciate every submission, but we reserve the right to:
- Decline a post for any reason
- Delay publishing
- Unpublish content if necessary
6. Credits & Author Info
Your published content may include:
- Your name and short bio
- A profile picture
- A link to your ProfileGrid contributor profile
- Any website or social links you provide
We love supporting our contributors — your author name will remain connected to your work.
7. Termination of Contributor Status
You may request removal of your contributor status or content at any time by emailing [[email protected]]. We will process removal requests promptly unless legally required to retain material.
8. Legal Stuff
By contributing, you agree to:
- Follow this agreement and all PMG community guidelines
- Accept that these terms may change (we’ll notify you of major updates)
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and your local jurisdiction.
